    • Free fireworks displays are back in Geelong this New Year’s Eve.

      The event will be held at the Geelong Waterfront, with fireworks being discharged from a barge on Corio Bay. Anyone with a view of the bay and city skyline will be able to enjoy the display.

      The event includes an early 9:30pm fireworks display for families and the traditional midnight event.

      Both displays will run for eight minutes.

      Pet owners are urged to keep their furry friends safe.
