ON the back of successful sold out kids school holiday programs in June and October 2015, we are excited to announce Narana’s Cultural Education team will be running a brand new school holiday program in January 2016 with extended hours, including full day sessions which include morning tea and lunch.
Perfect for working parents, the programs will run Monday to Friday from 9.15am – 3.30pm, beginning 4 January until 20 January, and will feature a wide range of fun activities for kids.
Activities are designed to promote participation, develop social interaction amongst the group as well as learning in an engaging and creative environment in both classroom and outdoor settings.
Activities include:
– Native Garden Walk
– Hunting and Gathering
– Bird Watching
– Arts and Crafts Activities including Jewellery Making and Rock Painting
– Boomerang Throwing
– Afternoon Movies On The Big Screen
– Plus Special Cultural Activities including Clapstick Painting and Traditional Dance.
Costs are:
– $8 Individual sessions
– $25 Morning program – morning tea, piece of fruit (3 Sessions)
– $27 Afternoon program – Include afternoon movies on the big screen – bring a pillow (3 Sessions)
– $50 All day – includes morning tea and lunch – sandwich, piece of fruit, bottle of water (6 Sessions).
Session duration is 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the activity.
